Qualified Signal Person and Basic Rigging - Dover

This full-day class will cover:

• When is a signal person required?
• Standard signals for a crane or derrick construction site
• Non-standard signals
• Crane operation dynamics
• Basic rigging techniques and calculations for different types of loads
• Hands-on practice with knots and rigging techniques
• A written and practical exam for signal persons
• A written exam for basic rigging
• A qualification card issued to those passing the exams (those who do not pass are invited back to a future class at no charge)
• Pocket rigging guides included in class price

The class begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at approximately 4:00 p.m. Lunch is included.
