Qualified Signal Person and Basic Rigging - Dover
This full-day class will cover:
- When is a signal person required?
- Standard signals for a crane or derrick construction site
- Non-standard signals
- Crane operation dynamics
- Basic rigging techniques and calculations for different types of loads
- Hands-on practice with knots and rigging techniques
- A written and practical exam for signal persons
- A written exam for basic rigging
- A qualification card issued to those passing the exams (those who do not pass are invited back to a future class at no charge)
- Pocket rigging guides included in class price
The class begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at approximately 4:00 p.m. Lunch is included.
